Mark Owen Stephan is the founder and Managing Partner of Arazon Financial Group, LLC, an independent wealth management firm that specializes in customized financial plans.Coming from a humble background and growing up in rural communities across the Midwest, Mark learned the value of money at a young age. He hawked newspapers at the age of 11. He farmed beside his cousins during his high school summers and worked throughout college hauling and selling shrimp to finance his education. Mark completed his high school education at Shattuck – St. Mary’s Prep School in Faribault, MN. He matriculated to Carleton College in Northfield, MN, where he participated as a starter on the football team for all four years and majored in English literature.
Mark married his high-school girlfriend, Tierza, who is an internal medicine physician at Abbott. Together they have two children, Tai and Cole, and four rescue pets. They have lived in Edina for the last 23 years. Mark’s hobbies include hockey, golf, running and traveling.
Mark’s professionalism in the financial services industry has been recognized with the “Planner of the Year” award in 2005 while at Sagemark Consulting and three times with the Freedom Club award for Outstanding Client Service with LPL Financial.
Charley loves being at the intersection of numbers and life, or – as he puts it – “playing in traffic.” He works with clients to define the purpose of their money and use that as a guideline to help them make informed financial decisions. After working five and a half years at Metlife, he joined Arazon Financial Group in late 2016.Charley holds Series 6, Series 7, and Series 63 registrations held with LPL Financial as well as a Life, Accident & Health license. He is licensed and registered in Colorado, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
A resident of St. Louis Park, Charley is either out on the golf course, cheering on his Indiana Hoosiers, or spending time around different parts of town with his family. His day has been a success if he was able to make his wife, Kati, laugh once or twice.
Tai Stephan has a Bachelor of Science in finance and a master’s degree in sustainable development. She’s worked across Asia and lived in China for five years. Before joining Arazon, Tai was a monitoring and evaluation specialist for an international healthcare not-for-profit in Beijing, China. In 2019, she transitioned to the financial services industry to apply her mathematical and analytical skillset to support operations. In her spare time, Tai volunteers with dog rescue from the dog meat industry and does yoga.
